Swarazankar is one of India’s most respected Indian classical music festivals, with a strong presence in more than 30 cities across the country since 2009. Over the years, it has grown from a national festival into a globally recognised musical movement. With the launch of SwaraZankar Hub, the festival now connects with over 15,000 music lovers across 35 countries who actively engage with its concerts and digital content.

The core purpose of Swarazankar has always been to support and sustain Indian classical music. Every festival thoughtfully brings together legendary maestros, senior stalwarts, and promising young artists, creating a beautiful balance of experience and fresh talent on one stage. This unique blend is what defines the Swarazankar experience in every city.

Today, the festival is held annually across several cities in Maharashtra including Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nashik, Kolhapur, Goa, Satara, Ahmednagar, and Solapur, as well as in other major cities like Chandigarh, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Belgaum, and Baroda.

Over the years, iconic artists such as Shivkumar Sharma, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Amjad Ali Khan, Zakir Hussain, Rashid Khan, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar and many other renowned musicians have graced the Swarazankar stage.

In the post-COVID era, Swarazankar has become even more ambitious in its reach. The strong digital audience built during the lockdown has opened new global opportunities. Today, Swarazankar is not just limited to India — it has the vision and capability to organize events internationally in countries like Singapore and the United States as well.

Vision

Our vision is to take Swarazankar to greater heights as a globally celebrated platform for Indian classical music. We aim to create meaningful musical experiences that honor tradition while embracing new ideas and younger audiences.

By expanding across India and internationally, encouraging youth participation, and strengthening our digital presence, Swarazankar seeks to keep our rich musical heritage alive, relevant, and inspiring for generations to come.

Swarazankar will continue to stand for artistic excellence, cultural pride, and a deep commitment to the future of Indian classical music.
